When Your Dad Puts You in a Fashion Stitch
Don’t get me wrong, I love my dad a ton. But buying me a $10 hoodie to wear to my first football game when I was planning on going full-out sporty street style? Not his best moment. The bright blue hoodie with the Giants logo looked...um...comfy when I first saw it, but definitely not high fashion. I knew that it would take a lot of work to transform this outfit into something cute and Instagram-worthy.
I went straight to my closet and pulled out my “ribbed and relaxed” tee from MaddieStyle, as well as my loose black track pants with a white stripe running down the sides. Okay, the outfit was starting to come together. I knew that baseball caps were “a thing” at sports games, so I grabbed one of my faves from my hat collection: a gray baseball cap with a “C” on it from American Needle. Now, I just needed some sunglasses so I wasn’t blinded while watching the Giants kick butt! I picked out my white marbled ones with blue mirrored lenses from Diff Eyewear, threw my bargain hoodie over one shoulder, and headed out to MetLife Stadium. See? Fashion stitch fixed!
