Bvlgari x Elle Celebrate the Wild Pop High Jewelry Collection
Diamonds are a girl’s best friend...especially coming from the new Bvlgari Wild Pop High Jewellery Collection.
Last week, the fashion industry’s elite gathered to celebrate the launch of the brand’s new line, which is inspired by a combination of “Roman creativity and [the] disruptive spirit of the 1980s.” The event, hosted by Elle Magazine, featured an endless array of glass cases enclosing the bright, rare gemstones that make up the collection. Some of Wild Pop High’s highlights were an emerald drop necklace adorned with ruffles, a black & white necklace that appeared to be inspired by a luxury piano of the 80s, and a snake bracelet that slithered around one’s wrist with a gold to silver ombre effect.
In addition to the jewelry, the venue--Bvlgari’s 5th Avenue store location--was decorated with disco lights, hot pink Roman statues, and flowers in the same hue. Victoria’s Secret supermodel Elsa Hosk and I enjoyed colorful rock candy lollipops as we walked around the space as well.
One of my favorite parts of the evening was getting to talk with the lovely Nina Garcia, Editor in Chief of Elle. She was such a gracious host, and I was so grateful to have had the opportunity to tell her about my mission to empower others through fashion.
Having been in the room with such extraordinary jewels (and people!) throughout the course of the evening, I ultimately left feeling more luxurious as ever. I guess it’s time to start saving up my piggy bank money...stat.
